Since I don’t want this post to be all about self-promotion (there should be no shame in that, though) I’ll leave you with something small that I wrote, which may sound like common sense, but hopefully serves as a good reminder:
Be honest with how you represent yourself. Don’t be embarrassed of saying the truth as long as you know that what you say isn’t offensive to the other person. Even if someone disagrees with you or doesn’t like the same thing, don’t feel bad about yourself. Don’t ever change what you like to suit what someone expects from you.
